Dipty Vempati did not end the second season of Love Is Blind with a long-term marriage, but she left with dignity and a thriving future. Fans remember the breakup of her relationship with former fiancé Abhishek «Shake» Chatterjee, which she openly discussed in her memoir «I Choose Myself». After establishing a strong bond from the fruits, Dipty and Shake eventually realized that their budding relationship would not last. In her book «I Choose Myself», - Dipty claimed that Shake belittled her for her body and insulted other women. In response to the accusations in her book, Shake told People: «I think it says a lot that I have been in happy, healthy relationships focused on the future (i.e. marriage and children) for a long time. Meanwhile, Dipty (single), exaggerates and embellishes the past — desperately trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame».
At the altar, Dipty impressed viewers by leaving Shake and saying, «I choose myself», - instead of staying with someone who was not sure about her.
At the moment, Dipty is not in a serious relationship. As seen on her Instagram page, the author enjoys traveling the world and spending time with family.
In March 2023, Dipty told Life & Style that she had a «small» romance with an unknown person, but she decided to remain single for now.
«I had something with someone before, but honestly, I realized that right now I really want to focus on myself», - she explained. «And yes, I go on dates and have fun, but I think I’m not ready for very serious relationships yet, or maybe I haven’t found [the right] person yet».
Dipty also opened up to E! News at the time about her journey from LiB to self-acceptance.
«What I learned during the journey is that I have to love myself just the way I am», - she noted. «There are many moments in our lives when we are not satisfied with our appearance. But if we change our attitude towards it, we begin to align our behavior and beliefs, and we see how our body changes because of how confident and beautiful we feel»
