Every Sunday, CBS airs the series «Tracker» and «Marshals», - which always experience delays. The main reason for the constant changes in the schedule is the broadcasting of football games and special episodes of the program «60 Minutes».
Delays for «Tracker» were also observed in the first season when the show faced live broadcasts such as March Madness and the CMT Music Awards. Nevertheless, the series became the most-watched premiere since the finale of «NCIS» in September 2021, with an average audience of 18.2 million viewers per episode, according to data from Paramount+.
According to Variety’s annual list, «Tracker» ranked 15th among the 100 most-watched television shows in prime time. The second season, which launched after an 11-week wait for new episodes, attracted 8.3 million viewers, which is a 10% increase compared to the first season finale. The premiere of the second season also became the most successful since the show’s debut in February 2024 after the Super Bowl.
The main character of «Tracker», - survivalist Coulter, played by Justin Hartley, noted that the show’s success has opened new opportunities for him. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he spoke about his long-standing relationships with the actors involved in the project and expressed gratitude for the chance to work with them.
Hartley also promised viewers surprises in the season finale, noting that the last five episodes will be like little movies, bringing them closer to unraveling the mystery surrounding Coulter’s father. He confirmed that there are already ideas for a third season, including the possibility that Coulter will use his skills to evade law enforcement.
«Marshals» airs on Sundays at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, followed by «Tracker» at 9:00 PM. New episodes are available for streaming on Paramount+ the day after they air.
