When it comes to their sex life, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are ready to tell everyone. During the latest episode of «The Valley», - Bravo stars candidly discussed the lack of intimacy they were experiencing in their marriage.
«When Jax and I first met, it was amazing», - said Brittany, 35, in a confessional interview that aired on April 9. «We were having sex all the time, 24/7. We didn’t miss a day. And now that has changed dramatically. I’m talking twice in the last year».
In his own confessional interview, Jax, 44, admitted that there is currently «just no romantic attraction».
«I'll take the blame. Yes, I let that attraction fade», - he shared. «It's not fair to either of us. Especially unfair to my wife. She deserves a man who is loving towards her».
Previously, Jax had said he wanted «sex three, four times a day all day long». Now, with their two-year-old son Cruz in the picture, the business owner said, «Now it’s like, 'Are we going to do it this month?'»
«I miss the intimacy», - Jax told his fellow cast members and fellow fathers Jesse Lalli and Danny Buko. «I feel like we need to plan for it».
In February, Jax and Brittany announced through their podcast «When Reality Strikes» that they were separating and living under different roofs.
«Marriages in general are very difficult, and I had a particularly tough year last year», - Brittany told listeners, holding back tears. «Jax and I are taking time to reflect, and I have made the decision to move into a different house to take some space for my mental health».
The couple, who filmed an entire season of «The Valley» before announcing their split, also confirmed that infidelity was not the reason for their breakup.
