Jackson Olson, a participant in the 35th season of «Dancing with the Stars», - spoke about his teeth and the reasons he wears veneers. In a TikTok video posted on September 21, Olson confirmed that his teeth are not real, but veneers.
He explained that three years ago, during a baseball game, he was hit in the face by a ball, resulting in a broken jaw. Despite the severe pain, his first question to the athletic trainer was whether his teeth were okay. The trainer assured him that his teeth were fine, but after 30 minutes in the hospital, Olson realized that was not the case. Three weeks later, he returned to the field, but with a protective cage on his helmet.
Olson’s story led him to a cosmetic dentist, who informed him that his teeth were at risk. He also noted that the impact had caused gaps between Olson’s teeth. Olson shared that this was his chance to improve the situation before it got worse. In his post, he encouraged others to stay positive despite challenges.
Fans supported Olson in the comments, noting that his smile looks great. In the first episode of «Dancing with the Stars», - Olson and his partner Emma Slater performed a cha-cha to the theme of the Savannah Bananas and received a score of 15 out of 30. On September 22, they will perform a foxtrot to Gracie Abrams' song «That's So True».
