Jenn Tranu was fed up with men’s behavior after her journey to find love on «The Bachelorette» came to an end. After a heartbreaking breakup associated with her final rose choice, Devin Strader, the 26-year-old contestant from the 21st season of «The Bachelorette» joked in an interview with People: «I hate men».
After getting engaged in Hawaii and then calling it off, Jenn was left heartbroken when Devin, 28, told her that he mostly «no longer loves her» and «doesn't feel the same way», - she told Jessie Palmer in the «After the Final Rose» episode.
She added that Devin became distant after the show ended: «The efforts were inconsistent; he didn’t call or text as often. I was confused. I didn’t understand, because we had just left so happy. I felt like I was secondary to everything else in his life, and I didn’t understand why».
While Jenn recalled the moment he broke up with her, Devin admitted live on air: «I realized I couldn’t meet those expectations in the real world. I couldn’t meet the things you need and deserve. I saw that I was contributing to your setback, and it hurt me. You don’t need to sacrifice your standards to be happy».
Closing one door and opening another, joining the 33rd season of «Dancing with the Stars», - Jenn opened up about being in a «healing process». In an interview with People, she said: «It's a healing process, but right now I’m just so excited about this new opportunity and the chance to try something else that I’ve always wanted to do».
Jenn was paired with Sasha Farber on the upcoming season of the dance competition. She told the publication that she looks forward to learning to dance, admitting that she only «attended one ballroom dance lesson in college». She expressed her joy about working with her 40-year-old professional partner, saying: «Honestly, I’m so happy. He’s been amazing so far… I think we’re doing great, so I’m thrilled».
