Jenna Johnson, a contestant on «Dancing with the Stars», - shared her feelings about being apart from her three-year-old son, Rome, during the 35th season of the popular reality show. On her Instagram on October 5, she wrote: «My patient boy. Early mornings, long hours, and time apart tear my heart».
Johnson posted a video of Rome sitting on her lap while she was getting ready for the day. At the moment she was applying blush, the boy turned to the camera and yawned. «Nothing I love more than these sleepy cuddles with you!» she added.
A few days ago, Johnson and her husband Val Chmerkovskiy reported that they had been in the hospital because Rome needed medical attention. Chmerkovskiy posted a photo on Instagram of Johnson holding Rome in a hospital room, captioning it: «Sunday as a parent». Johnson also shared a picture of her son with an oxygen mask on his face.
Rome was born in 2023, a year after the couple’s wedding. Currently, Johnson is competing on «Dancing with the Stars» paired with Harry Shum Jr., while Chmerkovskiy is dancing with Jenna Dewan. Before the premiere of the 35th season, Johnson openly discussed how she balances motherhood with her professional commitments. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bring her son to the set, noting that it was important to her.
