Jesse Williams and his partner Alejandra Onieva have become parents. On September 28, the actor posted a video on Instagram in which he opens the refrigerator in search of baby bottles, while Onieva speaks in Spanish with a group of people in the background.
In the video, 45-year-old Williams says, «English, okay, English! I want my son to speak English. It’s enough that his name is Hector». This video appears to be a reinterpretation of a scene from the 1989 film «Do the Right Thing», - where Spike Lee’s character says almost the same words. Williams also shared a clip from that film on his Instagram.
34-year-old Alejandra Onieva reposted this video in her stories and added a clip of the newborn’s feet on her stomach. In May, it was revealed that Onieva was pregnant, and she later confirmed this by posting several photos of her growing belly.
Williams is already a father: he has a daughter, Sadie, and a son, Maceo, from his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee. The couple, who married in 2012, separated after five years. The actor has openly shared his thoughts on parenting, noting that his upbringing has greatly influenced how he strives to raise his children.
