Jethro Sheeran called Ed Sheeran a «snake» over conflict with Macklemore

Ed Sheeran’s cousin, Jethro Sheeran, called the musician a «traitor» and a «coward» in an interview with Piers Morgan amid the scandal surrounding the exclusion of rapper Macamero from Ed’s tour. In the interview, which will air on September 25, Jethro stated that they were once close but soon noticed a «snake» in Ed.

Jethro, known as musician Alonestar, claims that he was the one who first brought Ed on stage and into the studio, but then Ed «just went his own way». He also accused Ed of «kicking out» Macamero from the show, although Ed himself claims that it was the promoter’s decision. Earlier this month, Macamero was removed from the tour following his controversial remarks about the «Free Palestine» movement.

Jethro noted that he had watched Ed «be a coward and lie» for nearly ten years. He added that he considers Ed’s decision to exclude Macamero cowardly, especially after the rapper himself stated that Ed had kicked him out. Despite his disagreements with his cousin, Jethro expressed hope for Ed’s success but also mentioned that he is disappointed with his actions.
