After almost ten years since the release of the «Fifty Shades of Grey» franchise film, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson still keep in touch.
The first film, released in 2015, hit theaters and gained attention and popularity, telling the story of college student Anastasia Steele, who begins a sexual relationship with businessman Christian Grey, but their relationship becomes increasingly intense.
During an interview at the Into Film Awards ceremony, the 42-year-old actor told Metro: «I just spoke to her a couple of days ago… I think she’s coming to London for a few weeks soon, so I’m trying to catch up with her and Chris Martin for dinner».
This comment came shortly after the 34-year-old actress was recently seen supporting her fiancé Chris Martin during his performance at the Glastonbury festival.
«I love watching him… I could watch him every day. I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like… I’m watching my favorite person do their favorite thing», - she shared in an interview with Bustle in March.
According to People, Dakota has been engaged to Coldplay’s lead singer for a long time. Since their romance began, she has taken on the role of stepmother to his two children, Apple and Moses Martin, whom he shares with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
She added: «I love these children as if my life depended on it… With all my heart».
Despite being in a new era of love, Dakota refers to Jamie as her «brother», - making their bond strong with mutual feelings.
«I know it’s strange, but he’s like a brother to me, I love him very, very, very much. And we really were there for each other. We had to really trust each other and protect each other», - she confessed in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2022
