Jason Oppenheim expressed support for his ex-partner Chrishell Stause following her unexpected breakup with Australian singer G Flip. Oppenheim, 49, quickly responded to the news of the split, announced by Stause on October 26, in which she revealed the end of their three-year marriage and the challenging journey to parenthood.
In the comments on Stause’s emotional Instagram video, Oppenheim wrote: «I'm so sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love». Stause, 45, admitted that she feels «a bit of a failure» after her second breakup. She was previously married to Justin Hartley, from whom she separated in 2019, with the divorce finalized in 2021.
Oppenheim also tried to reassure Stause, telling her that she is not a failure. «You both are wonderful people, and sometimes things just don’t work out, but that doesn’t mean anyone has failed», - he noted. He added that «maybe nothing can comfort her right now, and it will take time to process everything».
Stause and Oppenheim were previously in a relationship that began after her divorce from Hartley. Their romance, which started in July 2021, ended later that year, but they remained close friends. Stause married G Flip in May 2023, and throughout their relationship, she openly discussed her struggles with fertility.
In her video, Stause noted that she and G Flip agree to approach the breakup with love and respect. G Flip also released a statement confirming the split and expressing gratitude for the support, asking for privacy during this difficult time.
