Giada De Laurentiis thanks everyone after leaving DWTS

Giada De Laurentiis commented on her elimination from the show «Dancing with the Stars» in its 35th season, expressing gratitude for the support and positive emotions she received during her participation. In a video posted on Instagram on September 23, she noted that she was happy to represent women over 50 and encouraged her followers to try something new and scary.

The culinary author was eliminated from the show on September 22 after her salsa with partner Alan Bersten received a low score of 12 out of 30. Bidding farewell to the audience, De Laurentiis said, «I tried my best, but it wasn’t enough». Despite this, she emphasized that she was happy for every minute of her participation, especially that her daughter Jade, who studies on the East Coast, was proud of her.

De Laurentiis also noted that her greatest achievement on the show was the support from her daughter, who sent her encouraging messages every day. She added that although her time in the competition was short, she met many interesting people and enjoyed dancing. In closing the video, she thanked everyone for their support and expressed special gratitude to her partner Alan Bersten.
