J.K. Rowling declares that she will not forgive Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for their stance on transgender issues

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling speaks out against Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. In a series of posts on social media, the author of the fantasy book series shared a recent independent review that she called «the most comprehensive review of medical evidence on transitioning children ever conducted».

One of her followers responded to her post on X, writing: «Just waiting for Dan and Emma to publicly apologize to you… I’m sure you will forgive them…»

J.K. — who has faced controversies over past anti-transgender comments — implied that she is not ready to forgive the Harry Potter stars.

«It's not safe, unfortunately», - she replied. «Celebrities who supported a movement aimed at eroding women’s hard-won rights and used their platforms to support transitioning minors may save their apologies for traumatized detransitioners and vulnerable women who rely on single-sex spaces».

Although Daniel, 34, and Emma, 33, have not expressed their views on medical transitioning of children, they have supported transgender rights.
