For all Joe’s fans, this Jonas is ready to release new music after his breakup with his ex-wife Sophie Turner.
After four years of marriage, the popular couple decided to end their relationship, leaving themselves tied to their daughters Willa and Delfina. As a source told Us Weekly, «Sophie didn’t always want to be 'Joe Jonas' wife… she didn’t want to go on tour and do everything together. It’s not her style, and she wanted to keep her family away from all the hustle and bustle around the Jonas brothers».
Another source shared that «Sophie says Joe was too controlling… She also said Joe loved to flirt too much in public, but didn’t like it when she got too close to her male friends. It was clear their marriage was falling apart».
Their breakup allowed Joe to show his creativity and share his emotions — although he never specified that it was related to the 28-year-old actress.
Earlier this year, he gave a preview of one of the songs on his upcoming album called «Work It Out» — which he finally released on Friday, July 19 — in which he sang: «Come on, Joe, you have so many reasons to be grateful/ Stop being sad, because you make the atmosphere unpleasant/ Okay, I understand, right now you feel so unhappy/ Sometimes I wish I had the ability to be invisible».
The singer’s next album «Burnin' Up» will be called «Music for those who believe in love». He found time to work on this when his brothers — Nick and Kevin Jonas — were busy filming their shows.
The Disney singer admitted that he recorded the album in two weeks and told Entertainment Tonight: «The most personal music I’ve ever released… The idea is that sometimes you realize you just need to get out of something and you’re the only one who can fix it for yourself. No one will save you».
He revealed that his upcoming project — which will be released on October 18 — will consist of «beautiful ballads, songs about being a father, songs about love, songs about being better to yourself, basically, about everything»
