Joe Manganiello responds to Sofia Vergara’s hint on social media

Joe Manganiello commented on recent hints from his ex-wife Sofia Vergara on social media. In an interview on CBS Mornings on October 12, he responded to a question about a post made by her son, which stated, «this is what happens when you deal with a narcissistic man». Manganiello noted that anyone making such statements should first read his upcoming autobiography «Bloodlines» to understand what it is really about.
Manganiello emphasized that the book is about his experiences and hopes, not accusations. He added that he tries to treat people with grace and does not want to discuss personal matters on social media.
Before Manganiello’s television appearance, Vergara posted on Instagram a chart comparing the behavior of a «good man» and a «narcissistic man». The post was originally shared by her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, who did not explain the reasons for its posting.
Manganiello and Vergara married in 2015 while he was struggling with serious health issues. In his book, he claims that their marriage became «emotionally devoid». The couple separated and finalized their divorce in 2024. Vergara previously stated that their disagreements over children were the reason for the split.
Manganiello, for his part, denied her claims, stating that some of the assertions about him were false, and he is still open to the possibility of becoming a father. He is currently dating Kathleen O’Connor, to whom he proposed in 2025. The book «Bloodlines» will be available starting October 13.
