Jodie Turner-Smith accused of aiding brother’s sexual crimes
Jodie Turner-Smith is at the center of a new legal dispute, in which she is accused of facilitating her brother’s sexual offenses. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the actress and her brother Richard Smith are facing a lawsuit from three women who claim that Turner-Smith provided her brother with housing, transportation, and financial support, despite being aware of his actions.

The lawsuit alleges that Smith invited women to parties where they encountered drugs, firearms, and numerous people engaging in sexual activities. One of the plaintiffs also stated that Smith offered her housing in exchange for sexual services, and that she stayed with him for several months before leaving due to feelings of insecurity.

Turner-Smith is accused of negligence, endangerment of children, and aiding in the commission of offenses. The court documents state that the plaintiffs believe Turner-Smith was aware of the significant dangers associated with her brother and, despite this, continued to provide him with resources that allowed him to maintain a lifestyle in which his offenses continued.

According to the plaintiffs, Turner-Smith should be held accountable for her actions and inactions related to the complaints against Smith. One of the plaintiffs claimed that Smith made comments about a model, suggesting that Turner-Smith was aware of his alleged drug trafficking. The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory, punitive, and statutory damages.

Turner-Smith has firmly denied the allegations. According to her representative, this is a «frivolous lawsuit» filed by someone who is stalking Jodie while hiding under the name Jane Doe. The representative also claims that the three plaintiffs are actually one person posing as three.
