John Boyega announces wife’s pregnancy and two-year marriage

Star Wars star John Boyega has announced that he is expecting his first child and that he has been married for almost two years. In an interview with The Guardian, he spoke about his secret wedding, noting that he and his wife enjoy the idea of celebrating what is already established rather than just the act of getting married.

Although the wedding was intimate, Boyega expressed a desire to hold a larger celebration, joking that it would be so big that «Nigeria would have to be shut down». He also mentioned that he has two wedding rings and showed one of them, which they spontaneously bought at Walmart.

The identity of his wife has not been revealed, but many speculate that it is actress LaShontae Heckard. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a selfie with a man who closely resembles John, and he left a flirty comment on her photo. LaShontae has also started referring to herself as Lae Boyega.

Additionally, Boyega shared that he and his wife are expecting a child, adding that his life is completely fulfilled in terms of family. He emphasized that this is a time for family and that he aims to be «present» in this new chapter of his life.
