John Boyega becomes a father, announces the birth of his son

Actor John Boyega has become a father. On his Instagram, he announced the birth of his son, whom he and his wife Lashontae Heckard had been expecting for some time. Boyega thanked everyone for their kind wishes and added that his sister is also about to become a mom.

In his post, the actor shared photos with pregnant Lashontae, taken at what appears to be a baby shower, as well as a video of him holding his newborn. This announcement came a year after it was revealed that he had a secret marriage and was expecting a child.

In an interview with The Guardian, Boyega shared that he has been married for almost two years. He noted that he prefers to celebrate an established event rather than its beginning. The actor also mentioned that he has two wedding rings, one of which he bought spontaneously at Walmart.

Although Boyega did not disclose his wife’s name, many speculated that it is Lashontae. In a recent Instagram post, she began referring to herself as Lae Boyega. In the same interview, the actor stated that they are expecting a child, adding that his life is completely fulfilled in terms of family.
