Jonathan Majors receives a sentence for attacking his ex-girlfriend

Jonathan Majors was sentenced to a year of domestic violence and anger management training without imprisonment after being found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. According to the Associated Press, the 34-year-old actor was ordered to complete a 52-week intervention program for perpetrators personally.

Additionally, Majors must also complete therapy, in which, according to his legal team, he has already been participating, and he is prohibited from contacting Jabbari. If he violates the terms of his sentence, Majors faces a year of imprisonment.

Majors' lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, stated in court on Monday, April 8, that the actor «has committed to becoming a better person» and has «lost his entire career».

«It has been the most challenging year of his life», - the lawyer said, adding that her client intends to participate in mandatory counseling programs «with an open heart».

In response to Majors' lawyer, Jabbari addressed the court that day. During her emotional speech, Jabbari held back tears as she stated that her ex-boyfriend «shows no remorse».
