George Clooney expressed his condolences following the tragic death of his family friend Presley Gerber. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at his annual The Albies awards ceremony on October 9, Clooney, who is 65 years old, shared his feelings about the loss.
«I don’t think we’re even in a position to talk about it. Honestly, it’s one of the most devastating events that has happened in our family», - Clooney said. He also noted that for the Gerber family, this is «the worst thing that could have happened».
Presley Gerber, the son of models Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, passed away at the age of 27. Sources confirmed that he died during rehabilitation on September 20. The family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
The Santa Monica police reported that on September 21, they responded to a call about a possible overdose, finding an unresponsive man at the scene. Presley’s death is being considered a possible overdose; however, foul play is not suspected. The final cause of death has not yet been determined, despite the completion of the autopsy.
