Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh, wants to remove her father’s last name

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, reportedly filed a request to remove her father’s surname from her own. According to a new report, 18-year-old Shiloh submitted the request on her birthday, which was on Monday, May 27, with documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday, May 30.
In addition to Shiloh, Angelina, 48, and Brad, 60, are raising their children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
Apart from Shiloh, several sources had previously reported that Vivienne, 15, also removed «Pitt» from her surname in the musical program «Outcast». Vivienne had been helping her mother with the show’s production.
Even Zahara, 19, publicly rejected her father’s surname. In November 2023, she introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie at the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at her university, Spelman College. According to TMZ, Maddox also dropped his «Jolie» surname, but besides Shiloh, none of the other siblings have applied for legal removal of «Pitt» from their surname.
The changes in the family’s surname occurred against the backdrop of Angelina and Brad’s divorce, which has been ongoing since their split in 2016. According to the actress, the «Murder on the Orient Express» actor was allegedly aggressive towards her during an incident on a plane that year. Angelina made accusations in October 2022.
According to court documents obtained by Hollywood Life at the time, Angelina claimed that Brad «grabbed [her] by the head and shook» her on the tail of the plane. She also accused him of pushing her into the bathroom wall and «hitting the plane’s ceiling several times». Additionally, she claimed that her then-husband «choked one of their children and struck another».
Brad vehemently denied Angelina’s accusations. A representative for the «Once Upon a Time in Hollywood» star spoke to CNN at the time, stating: «Brad has taken responsibility for what he did, but he will not be held accountable for what he did not do. These new allegations are absolutely false».
Earlier this year, Angelina accused Brad of violence prior to the alleged incident on the plane in 2016. Brad has not publicly responded to his ex-wife's latest claims
