Frida Foreman, the 42-year-old daughter of George Foreman, was shockingly found dead by a relative in her home in the Houston, Texas area in 2019, reports TMZ. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Texas released an autopsy report on Frida, stating that she died on March 8 from suicide by «hanging strangulation». She used a «large bedsheet» as the ligature.

As the daughter of one of the most famous professional boxers in history, Frida led an interesting life. Here are five things you should know about her.

She first competed in middleweight in 2000, and although she won her first five fights, she lost the sixth in 2001. After the defeat, she retired to focus on family and other projects, including promoting boxing. According to TMZ reports, George apparently did not approve of her boxing career, so he reportedly paid her to quit boxing.

Frida, born in Texas where George is from, has six sisters, two of whom were adopted by George, and five brothers. All of his sons are known by the name George, and Frida’s middle name is also George.

She voiced a role in a 2003 episode of the series «King of the Hill». She also appeared in some documentary films about George and his career.

At the time of her death, Frida’s Twitter profile read: «Aside from loving my family, being a good mother, wife, and friend, I strive to make a positive change in our American criminal justice system». According to a LinkedIn profile under her name, the young talent seemed to have studied criminal justice at Sam Houston University.

Frida is survived by her husband, two daughters, three grandchildren, parents, and siblings.
