Steve Jobs' daughter, Eve Jobs, confirmed that she is dating British equestrian athlete Harry Charles, supporting the Olympian who won his first gold medal — 12 years after his father Peter did the same — on Friday, August 2.
The 26-year-old model announced her relationship through Instagram with a video showing Charles, 25, embracing her and kissing her after his victory at Château de Versailles.
«GOLD TEAM!!! I am insanely proud of you, my love!!! 🥇», - Eve captioned the video.
Charles also shared several photos from the competition on Sunday, August 4, via Instagram, including a photo of Eve holding a supportive sign with his other friends and family members.
«A few memories from the best day of my life», - he captioned his post. «You saw me on the podium, but as you all know, this is not just my achievement! Thank you, I owe you so much 🙏❤️».
Eve commented: «love-love-love you !!!», - to which he replied: «@evejobs I adore you!!»
Eve, the youngest daughter of Jobs, who died of cancer in 2011 at the age of 56, is a top model signed to the same agency as Emily Ratajkowski and Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber. She is also a successful equestrian athlete and show jumper. According to Horse Sport, in 2019 she was among the top riders under 25 years old from around the world.
It was expected that Eve would be back in the stands on Tuesday for Harry’s second attempt to win gold in individual jumping, but Charles announced on Tuesday, August 6, that he would not be participating in the final due to his horse, Romeo 88, not being ready for the competition.
«Unfortunately, Romeo and I won’t start the individual final today in Paris», - Charles shared via Instagram on Tuesday. «After a small setback yesterday, he’s not in the best shape, as always throughout the games, so we’re not taking any risks».
He added that he was «a little disappointed», - but as someone who understands that sports are not just about themselves, he expressed gratitude for what he and his horse partner were able to achieve.
«He has given me so much and taken me beyond my dreams. We leave Paris with a gold medal and, more importantly, a happy Romeo, so for me that’s more than enough», - Charles said.
«@teamgb have a great chance at medals with two of the best today in Scott and Ben, so we’ll be in the stands supporting them», - he continued. «Thank you all for the support you’ve shown me and Romeo throughout the games and made it an unforgettable experience!»
