Donald Trump, 2025 Kennedy Center Award winners announced: an annual award ceremony that recognizes achievements in the performing arts in music, film, theater, and other forms of art. Several months remain before the ceremony takes place at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, and the president announced the names of the honorees at the event, including Gloria Gaynor, the performer of the hit «I Will Survive», - and «Rocky» star Sylvester Stallone.
On August 12, Trump called the ceremony a «very exciting project», - referring to the recent reorganization of the Kennedy Center Council and the upcoming award ceremony.
«We will do something that will happen quickly, relatively inexpensively, and we will do it better than ever», - Trump noted, adding that he is «glad to be here when we officially announce the incredibly talented artists who will be honored later this year at the 2025 Kennedy Center Awards».
