Friends and family honored Hayden Panettiere’s memory in Malibu

Friends and family of the late Hayden Panettiere held a private event in her honor in Malibu. The ceremony, which took place on September 19, was attended by celebrities such as Connie Britton, Evan Ross, and Ruby Rose, who were spotted at the church where the service was held.
According to TMZ, around 150 people were expected at the memorial, including Hayden’s father, Skip Panettiere. The location for the ceremony was chosen in honor of the actress’s love for marine life. Hayden was an international ambassador for the Whale Conservation Fund and appeared in the 2009 documentary «The Cove», - where she confronted dolphin hunters.
Hayden Panettiere was found dead at the age of 36 in a home in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 16. According to the coroner’s report, no signs of trauma were found; however, the official cause of death has yet to be determined.
According to the police report, her ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach were present at the scene. Brian and Hayden had a tumultuous relationship that was marred by allegations of domestic violence. In 2021, he was sentenced to 45 days in jail after pleading guilty to harming a partner.
Brian spoke out about Hayden’s death through his attorney, who noted that it is important to allow the investigation to continue. The police investigation into her death is ongoing, and the Greenville coroner’s office released a statement indicating that Hayden may have taken oxycodone containing fentanyl before her death.
