Drew Campbell, a contestant on «Big Brother», - stated that he does not regret his decision to evict Dia Valladres instead of Rick Devens, even though it could have cost him the victory and the $ 750,000 prize. In an interview with Us, he noted that he remained loyal to Devens because he believed that if he had evicted him, he would have become the main target in the house.
Last week, Drew won the final power of veto and unilaterally voted to evict Dia, while Taylor Brown, who finished in second place, was safe as the head of household. Drew explained that he had a close bond with Devens and they had promised each other to make it to the final together, although those promises were ultimately broken. He did not see any chance that Dia would take him to the final and believed that he had better odds with Devens.
Drew also suggested that Taylor might have taken him to the final if she had won the final head of household and made a bold move by evicting Devens. He emphasized that he does not regret his decision, although he was disappointed with the outcome.
Despite his loyalty to Devens, it was Devens who initiated Drew’s eviction by winning the final head of household and listening to Taylor’s convincing arguments. Drew acknowledged that it was a smart decision by Devens and expressed his respect for him, adding that he will always consider him his «big brother». Ultimately, Drew voted for Devens to win, noting that he deserved the victory due to his gameplay and experience.
