Support for Taylor Swift Kamala Harris caused a wave in Hollywood. Taylor began her formal support for Kamala by writing that she watched the debates and urged fans to «research the issues that are important to you, and the positions these candidates take on the issues that matter most to you».
«As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country», - wrote the artist of «You Need to Calm Down» via Instagram, accompanying a photo of herself holding one of her cats. «I have done my research and made my choice. Your research is entirely up to you, and the choice is yours. I also want to say, especially to those who are voting for the first time: remember, in order to vote, you must be registered! Elsewhere in her post, Taylor criticized Donald and his team for spreading artificially generated images of her over the summer.
«I recently learned that artificial intelligence 'me' falsely supported Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and it was posted on his website», - admitted the Grammy award winner. «This really raised my fears about artificial intelligence and the dangers of spreading misinformation. This led me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my real plans for these elections as a voter».
After noting that «the simplest way to combat misinformation is truth», - Taylor noted that in November she will vote for Kamala.
