Ella Langley commented on her decision to cancel the concert scheduled for October 9 due to a perceived security threat.
During her performance on October 10 in Lubbock, Texas, she stated, «When it comes to your safety and making sure this concert is a safe place for us, I will do it. But as soon as I feel that it’s not, I won’t. A concert is not worth a human life».
Langley abruptly canceled her planned performance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, due to a «serious security threat». She emphasized that she made this decision and has no doubts about her choice: «I would make this decision another 10 billion times and would do it again, because while I’m grateful for the opportunity to do what I love, it’s not the most important thing in life».
The artist also noted that her relationship with Jesus Christ comes first for her, and that is what gave her the confidence to perform in Lubbock. «I'm not going to live in fear», - she added, emphasizing that she will continue making music despite the threats.
At the concert, Langley expressed gratitude to her fans: «Thank you for coming today. I know yesterday was scary, but we are so grateful for the opportunity to perform».
