The series «Tracker» is undergoing significant changes behind the scenes that will affect the fourth season. Executive producer Elwood Reid told Us that the upcoming season will be «different» and «truly refreshing».

Reid noted that he hasn’t filmed the show in Los Angeles for 12 or 13 years and expressed admiration for the level of talent in the city. He added that for the team working on the fourth season, this will be a completely new experience. Reid also emphasized that filming in Canada has been wonderful, but moving to Los Angeles is inspiring and opens up new creative opportunities.

The change in location is due to «Tracker» receiving a tax credit of $ 48 million on $ 129 million in qualified expenses, which prompted the move from Vancouver. Reid pointed out that in California, any ideas can be realized, and the casting process is simplified since they can now work with local actors.

He assured that the fourth season will look «amazing» and «expensive». Reid also shared that the show continues to evolve, presenting moral and physical challenges to the character Coulter, which helps avoid turning the heroes into infallible superheroes.

«Tracker» returns to CBS on Sunday, October 4, at 9:30 PM Eastern Time, and will be available for streaming on Paramount+ the following day.
