Actress Emma Roberts, despite having had many past relationships with actors, revealed in a recent interview with Flaunt that she no longer wants to «date actors».
The 33-year-old star has previously dated actors such as Evan Peters — her co-star on the show «American Horror Story», with whom she had an on-and-off relationship that began in 2012. At one point, they even got engaged, but ultimately broke up for good in 2019.
Shortly after the breakup, she found love with Garrett Hedlund — with whom she has a three-year-old son named Rhodes, but their romance ended in 2022.
«Once my eyes were opened, I no longer want to date actors… I think it’s hard for two actors to be together. I’m trying to remember if I’ve ever seen it done successfully», - she shared in the interview.
The actress added, «Also, the actors I’ve been with tend to be method actors, and that, in my opinion, is extremely difficult for relationships, at least for me, especially considering the characters they’ve played».
Although she may have had difficulties in the past with love, during the Flaunt interview it seemed that the actress had a new man in her life, whom she referred to as «adjacent to the entertainment industry», meaning he is not an actor.
While the anonymous lover remained unnamed, she recalled that he does not use social media, which intrigued her due to her complex relationship with the media and fame as a «Hollywood kid», as she is related to Julia Roberts (aunt) and Eric Roberts (father).
