Who else could find love while studying at a prestigious university, if not Hermione herself?
The actress was spotted kissing a fellow student in the UK on July 1, and now she is going on a date with the same man. The actress is usually more private about her personal life, but it seems they may be moving towards something more than just a romance.
Emma Watson, 34, is working on a partial master’s degree at Oxford, while the young man Kiran Brown is reportedly working on a doctorate in 19th-century literature and economics. A source told The Sun: «Emma is studying creative writing, and [Brown's] thesis is on literary theory — so they have a lot to talk about. She looks so in love with Kiran».
Before meeting Brown, the star of «Beauty and the Beast» dated Brandon Green, the son of controversial businessman and fashion entrepreneur Sir Philip Green, from August 2022 to May 2023. Then, in an interview for British Vogue in December, Watson shared her plans to take a break from her usual routine and try something new.
«As I work in a career that moves very quickly, the decision to take time for these things seemed very serious to me», - she said. «The decision to return to writing, studying, and working behind the camera was daunting for me because I had never done it before. I have always been in front of the camera; I have always been an actress».
She continued: «I am just so glad I did it, because I have a sense of my own voice and creative space and some autonomy that I didn’t seem to have before — more autonomy».
Back in 2011, Watson announced that she was temporarily leaving Brown University to focus on her busy career.
In a message to fans, she wrote: «As you know, I love Brown and love learning almost more than anything, but lately I have had so much to do that being a student and fulfilling my other obligations has become impossible».
