Emotional speech by Whoopi Goldberg on The View: 30th anniversary of Sister Act 2

Whitney Goldberg was moved to tears after a beautiful performance of «Joyful, Joyful» on «The View» on Wednesday, June 5. The majority of the episode was dedicated to a reunion celebrating the 30th anniversary of the classic film «Sister Act 2», and after performing one of the outstanding musical numbers, Whitney began to cry. You become the same age as these kids when you watch the movie», - she said. «You remember how happy you were that you didn’t go to Catholic school, but then you remember how sad you were that you didn’t go to Catholic school, and then you remember what great teachers you missed out on, like these».
