We invite all thrill-seekers! Universal Studios is currently working on opening a new park and attractions in Orlando.
Tourists will soon embark on a new adventure when they visit the «Epic Universe», - which will include themed areas, roller coasters, and a hotel. After seven years of development, Universal Orlando’s executive vice president and general manager of the new park, Jeff Polk, said at a lunch in the International Hotel Zone of Orlando, via the Orlando Sentinel: «We are, I would say, bringing together everything we’ve learned to do well in one place at the same time. And we tried and tried and tried to make sure that something that each of you will experience next year will simply amaze you».
The Universal park features sectors such as Super Nintendo, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, and others, continuing the success of previous attractions such as «The Wizarding World of Harry Potter» at Islands of Adventure and «Super Mario World» in Japan and Hollywood, California. The revival of Nintendo games will allow visitors to feel like children again. Polk expressed, «You will feel like you are actually experiencing the video game you could play in childhood».
The theme park is designed with portals to each world, so before entering a sector, tourists will pass through arched gates, creating the sensation of teleportation to a new universe. He also added, «The intention is to allow guests to fully transition from the real world to our worlds for the entire day. Once you enter, you will see incredible views and fantastic architecture».
One of the standout attractions awaiting significant attention is the roller coaster «Stardust Racers», - where two roller coasters will race side by side. After completing the ride with the winner, the general manager of Epic Universe added, «I can also tell you that this is one of those things I look forward to experiencing the most at night. There is no lighting on the track; the lighting is on the roller coasters, so it will look like shooting meteors cutting through the sky».
