Any fan of «The Simpsons» must remember the episode «Bart to the Future». A parody of «Back to the Future II», the episode follows Bart Simpson as he has a vision of his future in the year 2030. Lisa Simpson becomes the new president, replacing Donald Trump in office. Many viewers pointed out the resemblance between Lisa’s presidential character and Kamala Harris, and «Simpsons» writer Al Jean could not be prouder of the iconic idea.

Throughout the episode, Lisa wears a purple suit with a pearl choker and matching earrings, which is remarkably similar to what Harris, 59, wore when she took office as vice president in 2021.
After Trump took office in 2016, «Bart to the Future» was recognized as a creepy prediction. In the same year, another show writer Dan Greaney called it a «warning» of what was to come in the future in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
«It was a warning to America», - Dan said. «And it seemed like the logical last stop before hitting bottom. It was pitched because it was consistent with the vision of America going insane».
The episode was widely criticized by viewers when it aired, but Dan stood by the idea. However, he couldn’t remember who came up with the plot. During the interview with the publication, the writer noted that Lisa had to deal with national «problems that were beyond her control».
