Eric Dane is a beloved actor, best known for his role as Dr. Mark Sloan in the series «Grey's Anatomy». Although he has had a diverse career, playing characters such as Multiple Man in «X-Men: The Last Stand» or recently Cal Jacobs in «Euphoria», - for many he will always be Mark Sloan (nicknamed «McSteamy»).
For most of his career, Eric was married to actress «Once Upon a Time in Hollywood» Rebecca Gayheart from 2004 until they separated in 2018. Eric and Rebecca welcomed their first daughter Billie in March 2010. Eric revealed that they «named [her] after my father» in a 2016 interview with Harry Connick Jr. «It didn’t matter if it was a boy or a girl, the firstborn had to be Billie», - he said.
Although Eric seems to mostly avoid sharing his family on social media, Rebecca regularly posts charming photos of both daughters. She revealed that she nicknamed her eldest daughter Billie Kid, as she often calls her in Instagram captions. When Billie was little, Eric revealed that she didn’t quite understand his job, especially when he went to shoot the series «The Last Ship». «Our oldest, Billie, thinks I’m a mechanic because I walk around the house fixing things and putting her toys together. I told her, 'Dad is going to work on a ship.' She thinks I’m fixing it», - he told Parade magazine in 2014. Although that was a long time ago, she probably already knows that her dad is an actor!
A year after Billie’s birth, the couple welcomed their daughter Georgia in December 2011. Eric joked that he was the only man in his house in a 2016 interview with Harry Connick Jr. «It's like the estrogen mafia in my house», - he said then.
