Erin Andrews supported her husband Jarrett Stoll after his appearance in Taylor Swift’s new music video for the song «Patient Zero». The video premiered at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on September 27.
Andrews shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a photo from the video and writing, «A couple of champions right here!» In the original post, one user, who paused during a football game, spotted Stoll in the video and asked Andrews about his involvement.
After Swift accepted the first Artist Director Honors award at the ceremony, she introduced the video, which also featured Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. At the beginning of the video, Swift appears with Johnson at a cemetery, and then scenes show Johnson looking sad about her relationship with Farrell. The project also includes Cara Delevingne, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, and Stoll.
Swift thanked Johnson and Farrell for their trust and noted that working with them was «a new and truly delightful experience». She also expressed gratitude to Delevingne for agreeing to play «the lustful other woman».
While Andrews was working for NFL on Fox, Swift was celebrating her achievements at MTV. During the live broadcast, she accepted the Video of the Year award for «The Fate of Ophelia» and dedicated it to Dolly Parton, stating that her songs are «the best music videos you will ever see». Swift also received the award for Best Direction for «Opalite».
Travis Kelce, Swift’s husband, could not attend the show due to a game but was spotted «liking» several Billboard posts on Instagram during his wife’s arrival at the ceremony. Andrews had previously joked that she played matchmaker for the couple, publicly urging Swift to date Kelce in 2023.
