Fans are not thrilled with the wax figures of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran recently unveiled at the Panoptikum museum in Germany.

The 34-year-old pop star is depicted in a blue sparkling jumpsuit, posing with her hands forming a heart. Next to her, her 33-year-old industry colleague, Ed Sheeran, is shown with a guitar over his shoulder, smiling as his red hair falls on his forehead, as seen in photos on E! News.

As soon as these figures were unveiled on Tuesday, August 13 — Taylor’s lucky number — Swifties and Sheerios shared their dissatisfaction online. «When your mom says you have Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift at home», - one user wrote on X.

«They are so weird, I’m crying», - commented one person hysterically.

Another added, «They are pretty scary, to be honest».

However, some fans decided to support the team: «I'm sure the figures are very realistic and definitely worth seeing for any Swiftie or Sheerio visiting the museum. I would be interested to see how realistic they turned out», - noted one user.

«Honestly, very good replicas! Taylor looks great!» added someone else.

Panoptikum director Dr. Susanna Ferber shared, «With the wax figure of Taylor Swift, we welcome an absolute superstar to Panoptikum… August 13 is indeed a happy day for our wax museum — although the number 13 also holds great significance for Taylor Swift herself and her countless Swifties. We are happy to offer many people a special fan experience with their star».

Sculptor Lisa Büsher, who worked on the wax figure of Ed Sheeran — her first wax creation — noted that his tattoos were the «most complex and time-consuming» part of the entire project, according to the museum’s website. Capturing over 60 of his tattoos was part of an extensive process that began in 2022.

The director expressed satisfaction with Ed’s figure, stating, «I believe the facial expression and pose of the figure are particularly successful». Alongside these two singers, the museum features over 120 influential people from around the world
