Farrah Abraham, star of the show «Teen Mom», - recently underwent jaw surgery and shared her recovery process. On September 29, she posted updates about her condition following a double procedure aimed at treating chronic jaw issues.
According to her manager, Chrissy Johnston, Abraham’s jaw was wired shut, which deprived her of the ability to eat and speak for two months. She is experiencing severe pain and facing challenges both physically and emotionally. Additionally, Johnston noted that Farrah has lost hearing in her right ear and expressed hope for a swift alleviation of her condition.
Immediately after the surgery, Abraham appeared on her daughter Sophia’s TikTok live stream, where she held up a sign that read: «I had surgery and can’t talk. Thank you for all the gifts». She also mentioned that she feels like «Frankenstein» and hopes the swelling will subside within three months.
Farrah Abraham is raising 17-year-old Sophia, who is the daughter of the late Derek Underwood, who died in a car accident before her birth. Abraham first appeared on television in 2009 on the show «16 and Pregnant», - and later became a cast member of «Teen Mom». She has also participated in projects such as «Couples Therapy», - «Marriage Boot Camp», - and the British «Celebrity Big Brother».
