Fiona Harvey, known as the real Martha Scott from the series «Fawn Baby», is struggling with the situation regarding the lawsuit against the creators of the show, as her lawyer revealed during a recent interview. During a conversation with Piers Morgan on Tuesday, June 18, lawyer Richard Roth described how his client is living, receiving criticism for her portrayal in the popular Netflix series.

«I regularly communicate with her. Honestly, she’s not doing well», - Roth said on the show «Piers Morgan Uncensored». «She's shut herself in her apartment. She doesn’t know what to do, where to go… she’s in pain. She was shattered by this… She’s afraid to go out for groceries. It’s so bad».

Roth added that «a large percentage of the population doesn’t believe her and thinks she’s the same Martha depicted in the series».

In the Netflix series, the character Martha (played by actress Jessica Gunning) aggressively pursues a comedian named Donnie Dunn (played by actor Richard Gadd). The character behaves violently throughout the show and at one point commits sexual violence against Gadd’s character. Gadd created the show based on his original one-man show. He claims that a woman from his past pursued him, but did not publicly name Harvey as the real Martha.

Shortly after the premiere of the series in May, Harvey sat down with Morgan and stated that she is the real person about whom Gadd wrote his story. She also claimed that she was inaccurately portrayed in Gadd’s show.

«I find it quite indecent. I find it horrible, misogynistic», - she told Morgan. «People are calling me. It was absolutely awful. I wouldn’t have given it a second thought, and it’s not my kind of drama».

In June, Harvey filed a lawsuit against Netflix for over $ 170 million. In her lawsuit, Harvey claimed that her relationship with Gadd was never properly explored by the streaming platform and that the message at the beginning of the first episode — «This is a true story» — was a lie.

In response to her lawsuit, a representative from Netflix told PEOPLE that they intend to «vigorously defend this matter and support Richard Gadd’s right to tell his story».
