FireAid: a charity concert in support of those affected by the fires in Southern California

FireAid, the only concert in support of those affected by the wildfires in Southern California communities, took place on Thursday, January 30th, in Inglewood, at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum.
The five-hour event featured over 20 artists of various genres, with performances taking place simultaneously at both venues.

The charity concert featured a star-studded lineup.
Green Day opened the show at the Forum with their song «Last Night on Earth», - featuring a surprise guest — Billie Eilish. They continued with their anthem «Still Breathing» from the 2016 album «Revolution Radio» and their classic 1994 hit «When I Come Around» from the album «Dookie».
Lady Gaga closed the evening with an exciting performance of songs from the 2018 film «A Star is Born», - as well as an original composition written by her for the charity concert.
Other outstanding performers included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Katy Perry, No Doubt, Earth, Wind & Fire, Dr. Dre, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Nicks, Anderson .Paak, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, Mike Campbell, and Olivia Rodrigo.
A surprise performance came from surviving Nirvana members — Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear, who joined forces with St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett, and Grohl’s daughter, Violet, to perform some of Nirvana’s iconic hits.
FireAid at the Kia Forum was broadcast live on several platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV, DirecTV, Disney+, Hulu, FanDuel, KTLA+, Max, Netflix, Paramount+, Pluto TV, Peacock, NBC News Now, Prime Video, and Twitch. The concert was also streamed on platforms such as SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Veeps, X, and YouTube.

For more information on donations, visit FireAidLA.org. According to the website, direct contributions will be distributed under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation, supporting both short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives aimed at preventing future wildfires in Southern California
