Officially, the revival of the beloved 1990s sitcom «Frasier» will not be renewed for a third season on Paramount+. However, according to Variety, CBS Studios will continue to offer the series to other platforms in hopes of finding a new home for its third season. Executive producer Kelsey Grammer, who played the lead role in the series, talked about returning to the role that made him famous from 1993 to 2004.
«Many ask, 'What was it like to go back there?'» he told Parade at the time. «It didn’t faze me, honestly. It’s just a soundstage. It’s a place where I worked, we recreated it, it wasn’t the same place, but it looked the same. It was just fun. It was new to me at first. And then, when I sat down and said those famous words again, for the last time, 'I'm listening, Dr. Frasier Crane,' it touched me».

«Frasier», - which aired on Paramount+ for two seasons, is a revival of the original «Frasier» that began on NBC in 1993 and ended in 2004. The original «Frasier» was a spin-off of the 80s comedy «Cheers», - in which Grammer created the character of a cantankerous psychiatrist with a flair for drama.
According to the network’s official description, the revival «follows Frasier in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston, Massachusetts to face new challenges, forge new relationships, and finally fulfill old dreams or two». Frasier Crane, the main character, previously lived in Seattle. His move back to Boston, supported by a professorship at his former alma mater Harvard, is an attempt to reconnect with his son Freddie, who lives and works in Boston.
Grammer, of course, leads the cast in the role of Frasier. He is joined, according to The Wrap, by Jack Katmor-Scott as Frederick (Freddie) Crane, Frasier’s son, whom he shares with his ex-wife Lilith (Bebe Neuwirth). Nicholas Lindhurst appears as Frasier’s old friend and current colleague at Harvard, Professor Alan Cornwall, and Tox Olagundoye as the head of the psychiatric department, Olivia Finch. Anders Kate plays Frasier’s nephew, Niles (David Hyde Pierce) and Daphne’s son (Jane Leeves). Jess Salgueiro appears as Eve, a friend who helps reunite Frasier and his son, and June Diane Raphael appears as June.
