Gemma worked as a writer and journalist, collaborating with publications such as The Debrief and MTV UK. She is also the host of the podcast Good Influence, where she discusses topics related to sustainability, mental health, feminism, and social responsibility, using her platform to initiate thoughtful conversations and activism.
Gemma attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in Cheshire—the same school her younger brother Harry attended—and then went on to Sheffield Hallam University in South Yorkshire. There, she graduated with honors and qualified as a teacher in genetics, finishing her studies with high marks. On graduation day, Harry supported her and shared photos from the ceremony on his Instagram.
Gemma uses her platform to advocate for feminist issues, mental health, and bodily autonomy in her writing and on the Good Influence podcast. She often discusses how women are represented and evaluated in the media, including conversations about how women’s bodies are portrayed and criticized online, and calls for respectful dialogue about self-expression and empowerment.
Gemma is married to Michal Mlynowski. The couple wed in 2022 and mostly keeps their relationship private. Recently, Gemma has entered a new chapter as a mother, welcoming her first child—a milestone she occasionally mentions while continuing her work in writing, podcasting, and activism.
Gemma has several tattoos, including small minimalist designs that reflect her personal style. Her brother Harry has also honored Gemma with several tattoos over the years—including a gemstone, the letter «G», - and her name written in Hebrew—highlighting the close bond they have shared for a long time
