Gypsy Rose Blanchard addresses the hateful comments on social media that she received after being released from prison last year. During the latest episode of the show «Gypsy Rose: Life After Prison», - which aired on Monday, June 17, 32-year-old Gypsy read a message from the internet that she had seen. According to the commentator, she was allegedly called «a bad excuse for a human being».

«You are a stupid lost void», - the comment read. «Wait until real people cancel you. It will ruin your life. You will dream of going back behind bars. I can’t wait to participate in tearing you apart. You only deserve to be underground or imprisoned forever».

According to Gypsy, the harsh comment continued: «There are real children with cancer and real problems. Unlike you, who just went along with it because your mom told you to».

Speaking to the cameras, Gypsy noted that she understands that «many people are upset right now» because she «instantly became» a celebrity right after her release from prison. She also expressed her concerns about how her critics would react to her appearing in public places.

«What if a hater approaches me, who is too confident in their feelings, and hits me or becomes physically aggressive?» Gypsy asked. «You know, it’s a dangerous situation. When the reaction comes, I am at risk from dangerous people».

In December 2023, Gypsy was released early from prison after serving eight years for her involvement in the murder of her late mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, which occurred in 2015. Three years later, Gypsy’s ex-boyfriend Nick Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder. He committed the murder of Dee Dee and is currently serving a life sentence in prison. Gypsy, on her part, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Gypsy, a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, claimed that Dee Dee subjected her to psychological and physical abuse throughout her childhood. Dee Dee convinced their closest and everyone else that Gypsy was terminally ill, and Gypsy underwent various unnecessary surgeries
