Glenn Powell’s latest role is being the perfect dad to his fluffy friend Brisket. After Glenn took Brisket to the premiere of his new action movie «Twisters» in Los Angeles, Glenn’s dog quickly became viral online. But does he appear on screen next to the actor from «Top Gun: Maverick» in this tornado movie? Hollywood Life magazine has gathered everything you need to know about Brisket below.
The actor adopted Brisket in the summer of 2023 from the Labelle foundation in Los Angeles. In July of that year, Glenn posted a cute Instagram post with a picture of him and Brisket.
«In the world of dogs, it’s tough, so I thought it was time for me to hire a real bodyguard… Meet BRISKET — 1.5 pounds of raw power», - Glenn captioned the post. «Thank you @thelabellefoundation for all the amazing work you do in protecting dogs and for making me a dad. Glenn’s dog does not appear next to him in the movie «Twisters». However, he was on set of the film, as Glenn revealed in an interview with USA Today in July 2024. Opening up about moving from Los Angeles back to his home state of Texas, the actor from «The Expendables» noted that Brisket enjoys the new space.
«He runs a lot here in Texas», - Glenn told the publication. «He hasn’t experienced a Texas summer yet. We’ll see how he handles it. He even experienced a tornado. When we were filming 'Twisters,' it was just in the first few weeks when I got him, we were on set when a tornado touched down».
Although Glenn’s dog does not appear in the movie «Twisters», - the actor hinted that Brisket may make a name for himself in show business. Admiring what he did, making Brisket an honorary member of the film crew, Glenn hinted through Instagram that he created an account for his pet.
