GloRilla has been detained on charges of driving under the influence: reports

GloRilla was arrested in Georgia in the early hours of Tuesday, April 16, according to a report from TMZ. It was reported that she was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence, possession/consumption of an open alcoholic beverage, and other traffic violations. She was arrested around 6 am and released a few hours later.
Glo, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, was allegedly pulled over around 4 am after her car made an illegal U-turn at a red light. The officer who filed the report said he smelled alcohol and marijuana, and claimed that the 24-year-old rapper allegedly said she had been drinking but did not specify how much. The officer said she claimed she was able to drive, according to the report.
The officer also claimed that they conducted a sobriety test, which she allegedly failed, and allegedly refused a breathalyzer. TMZ also claimed that the report stated that GloRilla had a wardrobe malfunction during the sobriety test, which she did not notice until informed by the police.
Hollywood Life reached out to GloRilla’s representative for comment. She has not yet publicly commented on the arrest.
The arrest occurred approximately 11 days after GloRilla released her latest mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang (a continuation of Anyways, Life’s Great… 2022) on April 5. The new release includes her hit «Wanna Be» featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The album also features collaborations with other popular rappers such as Moneybagg Yo, Kevo Muney, Boston Richey, and Finesse2Tymes.
GloRilla also has several tour dates, with the earliest listed on her website on April 20 in Macon, Georgia. She will also join her «Wanna Be» collaborator Megan Thee Stallion on her upcoming «Hot Girl Summer Tour», - which will begin on May 14 and run until July 27, with Glo’s last stop being Las Vegas on June 22
