Grand Theft Auto fans were disappointed to learn that the release of GTA 6 has been postponed to a different date. The highly anticipated game — officially named «Grand Theft Auto VI» — was originally planned for the fall of 2025, and the company explained why they decided to delay it for a year.

We are very sorry that this is later than you expected», - the statement on the Rockstar Games website read. «The interest and excitement surrounding the new Grand Theft Auto have been truly impressive for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and patience as we work to complete the game. With every game we release, the goal has always been to strive to exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI will be no exception.
