Gypsy Rose Blanchard opened up about her recent meeting with her ex-fiancé Ken Uker during an appearance at the Lifetime’s For Your Consideration event on May 1st. Gypsy Rose admitted that they are both taking things slow, chatting with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. She said that although they have rekindled their spark, they are taking things slow.
Gypsy is going through a divorce with her husband Ryan Scott Anderson, and she admitted that having Ken by her side is very welcomed. «I think we’ve always had a very close connection», - she told ET. «Having that foundation was important for our reunion, and we just hope for what the future holds for us. I know I’m going through a tough time right now, so I’m just doing my best to move forward with my life».
Although their relationship has been going on for some time now, Gypsy acknowledged that they are taking things slow. «I've always said that Ken is my soulmate», - she said. «I don’t want to rush things because, you know, I want to go at my own pace. I don’t want to set expectations and make everything too serious».
At the moment, everything is happening long-distance, as Ken lives in Dallas and Gypsy is in Louisiana. She revealed that he plans to move to Louisiana to be closer to her. «We're just enjoying our time together and hoping for what the future holds», - she said.
The interview took place shortly after photos of Gypsy and Ken kissing at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival were published over the weekend. The couple were seen kissing and holding hands in the photos posted by TMZ. Earlier in April, they were spotted holding hands, and Ken’s mother mentioned that they went to get tattoos together after lunch at the beginning of the month, shortly after Gypsy’s divorce became public knowledge
