Hannah Waddingham does not tolerate any nonsense. The 49-year-old actress attended the Olivier Awards ceremony in London over the weekend, and during a photoshoot, she stopped halfway to scold the photographer for asking her to «show a leg» in her sheer purple dress with a slit.
«Oh my God, you would never say that to a man», - Hannah said directly to the photographer, according to a viral video posted by Bruno. «Don't be a fool, otherwise I’ll leave. Don’t say 'show me a leg'. No».
As she walked away, several people could be heard applauding the star of the series «Ted Lasso». Commentators praised Hannah’s response on social media.
«That photographer was damn rude. I’m glad she kicked him out!» wrote one social media user. «And I’m glad her friend Michael Ball was there to hug her; I’m sure she needed that at that moment». Another added, commenting: «What a queen — just when I thought I couldn’t love her more!»
Hannah has never been afraid to be herself unapologetically. The «Game of Thrones» alum recently sat down with Stephen Colbert to describe a dangerous stunt she had to film for the show.
«It wasn’t stunts, but 'Game of Thrones' gave me something I didn’t expect from it, and that was chronic claustrophobia», - she said during an episode of «The Late Show» earlier this month. «Because I had 10 hours — I talked about it later with David Benioff and Dan Weiss, two executive producers on it. I was like, 'Well, good for them, because it was awful.'»
Hannah continued to assert that she spent «10 hours, actually being waterboarded. Actually being waterboarded».
«So, they tied me to this table with these leather straps», - she explained. «And I couldn’t lift my head because they said it would be too obvious that she’s free. I was like, 'Well, I’d like her to be free.' So, I come back, and I’m in this gorgeous lift, and my hair’s already bleached to death. I had all this hair in grape juice, so it turned purple. I couldn’t speak because the Mountain had his hand over my mouth because I was screaming, and I had marks from the straps everywhere, like I’d been attacked»
