This is the kind of sarcasm that defines the show «I Love L.A». This hipster project, created, produced, and starring the fearless Rachel Sennott, tells the story of a group of Generation Z representatives in the City of Angels who are trying to navigate life against the backdrop of a culture of constant busyness. Fortunately for fans, HBO has renewed the show for a second season!
Rachel described the show as «Entourage for internet girls» and noted in an interview with Deadline that part of her inspiration came from her early 20s, which were «really chaotic».
«In my mid-20s, I thought, 'Okay, I’ve figured it out. I know what my life is. I’m done.' And then, by the end of my 20s, I felt like the early version of myself resurfaced, and everything became chaotic again, which was scary but good», - said the actress and comedian.

In addition to Rachel, who plays Maya Simsbury, the cast of «I Love L.A». also includes Josh Hutcherson as her boyfriend Dylan, Odessa A’zion as Maya’s former best friend Talula Steel, Tru Whitaker as Maya’s friend Alani Marcus, and Jordan Firstman as stylist Charlie Cohen.
Recurring and guest stars include Lauren Holt as Maya’s colleague Courtney, Moses Ingram as chef Tessa, Leighton Meester as Maya’s boss Alice, Annaliza Cochrane as a New York influencer Paulina, Ayo Edebiri as Mimi Rush, Josh Brenner as Victor, and Elijah Wood as himself.
