H.E.R., Liza Soberano, and Dave Franco discussed their new animated film «Forgotten Island», - which focuses on the fear of losing friendship. In an interview with «Extra», - H.E.R. shared a personal experience related to the film’s theme, noting that she had a similar situation with her best friend when they attended different schools and couldn’t see each other for a long time.
Liza added that they didn’t have much time to create chemistry between the characters, as everything happened very quickly. She mentioned that she auditioned and learned about her role in just one session, but they were lucky to have two sessions together, which allowed them to get to know each other better.
During the press tour, they grew closer, and Liza noted that they traveled together in the Philippines. H.E.R. emphasized that it was the «in-between moments» that helped them form a real friendship.
Additionally, H.E.R. and Liza discussed their new original song «BRB», - which will also be featured in the film. Liza shared that they sang it at karaoke in the Philippines.
Dave Franco, who voices the character of a guide named Row, noted that in real life he prefers cats but also loves dogs. He emphasized that people who love cats shouldn’t be pitted against those who prefer dogs, and he urged against portraying cats as villains in animation.
The film «Forgotten Island» will be released on September 25.
