Hayden Panettiere died from toxic effects of drugs
TMZ has published new details about the death of Hayden Panettiere, which occurred on August 16. In a report from the Greenville County coroner’s office obtained by TMZ, the senior deputy coroner described what happened on the day of her death, as well as the substances found in the home.

According to the investigation, the cause of death was determined to be the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine. The circumstances of the death were ruled an accident. The report states that the senior deputy coroner arrived at the AirBNB where Hayden was staying with her boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach. One of the brothers reported seeing Hayden applying makeup at 10:30 AM, after which he returned to bed but was awakened by a knock at the door.

Later, the brothers found Hayden lying face down on the couch with her legs crossed. They noticed that she had turned deep purple when they tried to wake her. The report also indicated that Hayden was administered two doses of Naloxone. One of the brothers told the coroner that he did not know if she had used drugs, as «she was very good at hiding it». Blue pills that tested positive for fentanyl and a straw were found on the table. A white powder was discovered in a glasses case that was in Panettiere’s suitcase.

According to the report, Hayden had completed a rehabilitation program just a few weeks before her death. Hayden’s father, Skip Panettiere, also spoke with the investigator and stated that Hayden had planned to celebrate her 37th birthday in Greenville before heading to Ukraine to visit her 11-year-old daughter Kaya.
